  • Its a Taj 🙂
  • We stayed here in May 2026 🙂
  • Beautiful place with so many instaworthy viewpoints
  • Beautiful views of Dal lake & mountains from almost everywhere in the hotel
  • Huge rooms with balcony overlooking Dal lake
  • Head-chef confirmed that they use separate pans for cooking veg food
  • Kids play room with Playstation, Foosball, Carroms, Toddlers area and board games
  • Infinity swimming pool

Things To Know

  • One section of hotel rooms require using steps. So if you are carrying prams/wheelchairs/have difficulty climbing steps, inform front desk in advance while booking and check-in
  • Located uphill and about 10 – 15 min drive from Dal lake. So you will not be able to walk to Dal  Lake
  • Swimming pool is in open area and not temperature controlled. So you will not be able to use it in winters
  • Slow room service due to the size of property

  • We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2026 🙂
  • Set amidst fruit orchards like apple, apricot etc, this is an extremely beautiful place surrounded by nature, greenery, neatly manicured laws
  • Lots of open spaces for kids to play
  • Extremely peaceful place where you will be able to hear birds chirping throughout the day
  • Duplex type independent cottages with kitchen attached
  • Food is brought to your villa and served in dining area
  • Provide complimentary Yoga mats to practice yoga amidst beautiful mountain backdrop
  • Offers barbeque and firepit at extra cost

Things To Know

  • Property is about ~6 – 7 km away from Srinagar and in a remote village neighborhood
  • Limited veg options especially in breakfast
  • Chefs cook food in their kitchen which is common for veg and non veg food
  • Instruct the chef to put less salt in the food
  • They don’t have TV in room

  • Earstwhile palace of the king Maharaja Pratap Singh
  • Has all weather indoor swimming pool

  • The best property in entire Gulmarg
  • 5-10 min walk to Gondola
  • We visited here for evening snacks in May 2026 🙂
  • Luxurious 5* resort with beautiful view of surroundings – Snow capped mountains, green pine trees and lush green meadows (during summers :))
  • Temperature controlled indoor pool with gorgeous views
  • Head-chef confirmed they had separate kitchen for veg and non veg food
  • Kids playroom with Playstation, videogames and board games

Things To Know

  • Must visit either for stay or for lunch/evening snacks after completing gondola
  • Must try their chocolate pastry. It was heaven
  • Burgers, Strawberry shake, Lotus stem honey were good but found Nachos and Chat to be very average

  • Newly constructed boutique hotel which can be classified as 4*
  • Decent veg options in buffet dinner/bf.
  • Near to rafting point
  • Has lift facility

Things To Know

  • About 20km before main Pahalgam market
  • Small size room which gets cramped if extra bed if placed
  • Approach road was being built when we went.
  • No amenities
  • Best for overnight stay and not recommended for relaxing in the day as there is nothing nearby
